Q: Can I come if I'm not single?
A: Star Speed Dating events are for single people who have paid
to meet with other single people in the hope of sparking a new relationship. The
appearence of non single people at our events would be detremental
to what we and our attendees are trying to acheive.

Q: What happens on the night?
A: It varies from event to event. You can visit our
events
page for specific information about each event. Generally, we meet in the
bar for an ice-breaking session where guests are handed their score cards. Your
host will run through how the speed dating works before it actually begins.
After the dating session is over, the night goes on. The bar will remain
open until late whilst our guests mingle and get to know each other a
little bit better. Before you leave, hand your score card into your host
and in the next couple of days, you'll be emailed your matches.

Q: How long does the event last?
A: It usually depends upon how many guests attend a particular event,
but a rough guide for the actual speed dating is about 2 and a half hours, including
breaks. However, as the bar stays open 'til late, our guests usually stay on
to get to know each other a little better.

Q: How many date's will I get?
A: It depends on the size of the event and how many people attend. We
feel that anywhere between 15-20 dates is a good number, and this is what we
aim to acheive for you.

Q: Can I go to more than one event?
A: Of course you can! We are constantly striving to bring you more and
more events throughout your area, and you can come to as
many as you like.

Q: How much does an event cost?
A: This can vary depending upon the event, but most of our events cost
between £20.00 to £25.00. You can find out pricing information for specific events

Q: What cards do you accept?
A: Our fully secure payments system accepts most major credit and debit
cards including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Solo and Switch.

Q: Can I pay on the night?
A: Star Speed Dating require an equal number of male and female guests
at each even, and have to take bookings in advance. We cannot risk
people turning up on the night to unbalance this.

Q: Is my payment secure?
A: Definately. Star Speed Dating use a fully secure payment system which
makes it one of the safest ways to pay. You can tell you are on a secure server
when booking for an event by noting the small padlock in the right hand of your
screen.

Q: Why do I have to pay in advance?
A: Star Speed Dating need to ensure that an equal number of male and female
guests attend our events, which usually get booked up very quickly. To make this
possible, we do require you to pay in advance.

Q: Do I get a refund if I can't make
it?
A: Star Speed Dating cannot accept cancellations or offer refunds, as
it would be detremental to the quality of our events due to an unbalanced number
of male and female guests. Should you find that you are unable to attend an event,

Q: How do I know if I have a match?
A: After the event has finished you will hand your score card into your
host. If you and another person have ticked each other on your respective score
cards, you will be emailed notification and each other's email address.

Q: Can I get anyone elses details?
A: Unfortunately not. Whilst we understand that this may be frustrating,
we can only provide the contact details of your matches. If someone you selected
on your score card didn't pick you, we have to respect their wishes.

Q: What information is given to matches?
A: We provide matches with the first name and email address of their match.
Star Speed Dating will NEVER provide any other contact details under any circumstances.

Q: Can I have more than one match?
A: If you tick several people on your score card and they have also ticked
you, we will provide you with the first name and email address of all of your
matches. It is up to you to decide which one's to take further.

Q: I have few or no matches. Why?
A: Don't worry. Not everyone comes away from a speed dating event with
matches. Perhaps you just didn't meet the right people this time. Take a look
